Game Mechanics
Elimination Format
Each tournament consists of multiple rounds. In each round, you must make a binary prediction. If your prediction is correct, you advance to the next round. If not, you are eliminated.
Last One Standing Wins
The tournament continues until only one player remains. That player takes home the prize pool! If multiple players remain after a set number of rounds, the pot is split equally.
Each tournament’s exact dead-heat rules — the round cap and the consecutive-draw limit — are shown on its page, in the “How it works” section at the bottom.
Round Timer
Each round has a countdown timer — submit your prediction before it runs out. If you miss the window, your pre-set timeout strategy makes a pick for you (random by default), so you may be eliminated.
Prize Pool, Odds & House Fee
Knockout is a skill-and-prediction elimination game, not a slot machine — so there's no slot-style RTP percentage. Here's exactly how the money and the odds work:
Entry Tickets & Feeder Tournaments
Some tournaments are feeders: instead of cash, winners receive an entry ticket to a bigger target event.
Game Modes
Every Knockout tournament is built on one of four simple 50/50 picks. There is nothing to memorise — pick a side each round and keep advancing.
Coinflip
A coin is flipped each round. Pick heads or tails. If your side comes up, you advance.
Black or Red
A card is drawn from a fair shuffled deck. Pick red (hearts/diamonds) or black (spades/clubs). Match the colour to advance.
Dice
A six-sided die is rolled. Pick even (2, 4, 6) or odd (1, 3, 5). Match the parity to advance.
Penalty Kick
The striker steps up. Will the keeper be beaten, or pull off the save? Call GOAL or SAVE — call it right to advance.
Each round resets the odds — past picks do not influence the next outcome. Provably fair RNG; results are auditable from the Fairness page.
Tournament Variety
Range of Buy-Ins
Tournaments run across many entry-fee tiers — from free Ghost Mode games up to high-roller tables with bigger prize pools.
Free & Ghost Mode
Play for fun with Ghost Credits — no deposit needed. The best way to learn the game risk-free.
Varied Schedules & Sizes
New events run throughout the day with different round speeds, field sizes and prize pools.
Seasonal Leaderboards
Climb the global and weekly leaderboards across tournaments to compete for seasonal prizes.
Team Play
Some tournaments let you enter as a team instead of solo. Each teammate pays their own entry fee and plays their own game — but if any member of your team is the last one standing, the prize is split equally across the whole team.
Ghost Credits (GC)
Ghost Credits are your virtual currency for Ghost Mode tournaments. Earn them through gameplay and use them to enter ghost tournaments.
Ghost Mode
Eliminated from a tournament? You can continue playing in Ghost Mode. Ghost players keep making predictions for Ghost Credits (GC) but cannot win the main USDC prize.
Timeout Strategy
If you miss the prediction window during a round, your entry is resolved using your pre-set timeout strategy. You can configure this in your account settings:
Set your timeout strategy before the tournament starts so you stay in the game even if you lose connection.
